Privacy Policy

Overview

Bibloom ("we", "us", the "App") is designed to respect your privacy. You can use Bibloom without creating an account, without giving us your email, and without signing in. This policy explains what information the App handles and how.

Information stored on your device

Most of what Bibloom remembers stays on your device and is never sent to us. This includes:

• Your name, age range, faith background and goals if you provide them during onboarding.
• Your selected struggles, themes and content preferences.
• Your saved and liked verses, your daily streak, and your chosen background and app icon.
• Anything you write or speak in the "Lay it down" feature. This content stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
• Your reminder settings.

If you delete the App, this on-device information is removed with it.

Microphone and voice input

If you choose to speak in the "Lay it down" feature, the App uses your device microphone and your device's built-in speech recognition to turn your words into text. We do not store your audio recordings on our servers. You can deny or revoke microphone access at any time in your device settings.

Purchases and subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not see or store your payment details. To manage subscription status and unlock premium features, we use RevenueCat, which assigns an anonymous app user identifier and receives purchase information (such as product purchased, purchase date and subscription status) from Apple. Content delivery

Verse audio is delivered from secure cloud storage (Supabase). Requesting an audio file involves your device's IP address as part of standard internet delivery, but we do not use it to identify you or build a profile.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. You can turn them off at any time in the App or in your device settings.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not show third-party advertising.
• We do not require an account or your email address.
• We do not share your "Lay it down" entries with anyone.

Children

Bibloom is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can revoke microphone and notification permissions in your device settings, and you can remove all on-device data by deleting the App. For subscription management, use your Apple Account settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
